How do I serve the Luxury Christmas Pudding w/brandy I purchased from Harrods last year? - serve

The label indicates that it will be good until 2009 (I hope he is good) still. I think Christmas service this year. I come from the U.S., and have never had one.

We want to eat last Christmas, but I do not know how to serve. The label shows steam, a few hours.

Most people who have served with a sauce or not?

All suggestions are welcome.

Turn the pudding onto a large plate and flame with brandy (quick advice is to drink a little warm before pouring on the pudding)
.
Brandy butter

175g (6 oz) butter
175g (6 oz) soft brown sugar
6 tablespoons brandy

1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy and creamy. Then gradually the rum to the mix to ensure that any further if you beat the mixture well. This prevents the butter from curd.

2. Put the mixture in a covered container and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

3. Brandy butter is kept up to two weeks in the refrigerator, a lot can happen before Christmas.

Many people steam the pudding for hours, but I am always alone microwave - just as well.
Heat - Pour the hot brandy and water and light to come on the table.
Serve with pouring, cream or brandy butter.
Enjoy!

Serve with custard, cream or brandy butter. Or three. And it must be simmered for two hours, otherwise not edible.
